EASY MEXICAN CHOCOLATE & BERRY FROYO SANDWICHES

Do you like ice cream sandwiches? If so, then you’ll probably like these. My friend, Parker, and I made these after seeing a recipe on a Honey Maid graham cracker box. They’re healthier than traditional ice cream sandwiches, but taste just as good. Below is a list of the ingredients for the version we found on the box and one we made up ourselves. BERRY & BANANA FROYO SANDWICH INGREDIENTS:

1/3 CUP BERRIES
1/3 CUP BANANAS
1 CUP GREEK STYLE YOGURT
1 CUP COOL WHIP OR NON-DAIRY TOPPING.
HONEY GRAHAM CRACKERS

MEXICAN CHOCOLATE-BANANA FROYO SANDWICH INGREDIENTS:

2/3 TO 1 CUP BANANAS
1 TBSP (OR MORE TO TASTE) OF COCOA POWDER
1/4 TSP. PUMPKIN PIE SPICE*
1 CUP GREEK STYLE YOGURT
1 CUP COOL WHIP
CHOCOLATE GRAHAM CRACKERS
OPTIONAL: CHOCOLATE SHAVINGS/SHREDDED COCONUT

*we got our spice at Trader Joe’s. If you don’t have Pumpkin Pie Spice you can add 1/8 tsp of cinnamon & a pinch of ground cloves.
