OOEY GOOEY EYEBALLS

STEP ONE

In a large glass bowl or jar empty a can of lychee fruit or fresh peeled lychee.

STEP TWO

Pour 1/2 apple juice & half water into your jar to cover the lychees.

STEP THREE

Put a lid on your concoction. Make a label or tag (think of a scary name for your potion) and tie it on or stick it onto the jar.

PICKLED BRAINS

STEP ONE

Place half a head of cauliflower into a large glass bowl or jar .

STEP TWO

Pour apple cider vinegar over cauliflower until it is covered. If you really plan to eat this later, then you can add herbs (sage, bay leaves, thyme) and salt & peppercorns to help flavor the cauliflower. Add a drop of food dye to make your potion scarier.

STEP THREE

Put a lid on your concoction. Make a label or tag (think of a scary name for your potion) and tie it on or stick it onto the jar.

RESOURCES

Lychees can be found in the Asian section of some major grocery stores, some Whole Foods, or your local Asian store. Thirft Stores, Restaurant Supply Stores & Target are a great places to find inexpensive glass jars. Labels can be made by hand with scratch paper or you can find tea-dipped labels on Etsy.com or colored labels at Paper Source.
