Level: Easy to Medium

We were inspired to make these confetti push-pops after seeing Thimble Press’s version on DesignLoveFest.com. They’re actually super easy and simple to make and customize and, as you can see from the VIDEO & photos, they are super fun to use. For this craft, friends and 5th graders, Airis & Francesca, came over to help and Parker (4th grade) directed the episode.

Hope you love these as much as we do.

STEP ONE

Print labels for you push-pop. We used square Kraft labels fro Avery (#22846). We tried clear labels but it was really hard to read the words because of the confetti behind it. We used the Avery Template designs for free on Avery.com to make it doable for kids.

STEP TWO

Assemble the push-pops and stick the label on.

STEP THREE

Fill with confetti. Good idea to have a tray under you so that it does not get everywhere. We used a mix of left over wrapping paper, Paper Source paper scraps and confetti mom bought on Amazon.

Metallic confetti looks best.

STEP FOUR

This is the hardest part but some times is super easy. Snap the lid on. My mom has no problem. Her trick is to place edge of the push-pop on the inner lip of the lid then quickly snap the lid on. If you squeeze the push-pop in your hand then it won’t be a circle for the lid to fit. After you get the hang of it, this is much easier. But feel free to get an adult to help.

Woohoo! Happy New Year!
