Welcome. This is where I share everything that we make and do so that you can do it, too! Each post in this section usually has a video that was made for it, as well. Just click in the post where you see the word “video” to check it out. Have fun & enjoy!
—Your New Friend, Gray
Are you tired of serving fruit salad the same way every 4th of July or at summer cookouts? Well, these bright, colorful fruit kabobs are a great & fun way to serve fruit on a stick! Pick RED & BLUE fruit (for example, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.) and something WHITE (such as mini marshmallows, coconut or banana slices) to alternate on the wood skewer!
To make the star at the top, ask an adult to give you a thick slice of watermelon, then use a star shaped cookie cutter to punch out a piece of watermelon in the shape of a star. Place the star at the top of your kabob and voila!
Tip: You can use the end of the used watermelon rind as a dome to poke your finished kabobs into (see photo below)!
These healthy kabobs are also great for quick snacks & summer parties! I hope you like them, too! And, don’t forget to check out my Fun How-To Video to help you make these!
